Assistance requested with reading Emily Post inscription

Emily Post continued her literary career and in 1910 An Eagle's Feather was published. 


Apparently, she was still in contact with George E. Barton.  Here is a copy of the inscription to him in this book:



I am having a little difficulty with reading the print - it seems that Emily Post is stating her dissatisfaction with something - I was assuming it might be with the cover picture?  If anyone has any good guesses on what she was referring to I would love to hear opinions.

Whenever I can't read someone's writing I am always surprised to find out how it was so apparent to someone else - and then in looking at it a second time I don't know why I didn't see it!  Any help with this is appreciated.

On retained primitive reflexes

Each year I receive several emails from colleagues about 'retained primitive reflexes.'  I am also seeing an increased number of reports from local 'health care' providers who are documenting these alleged problems so I thought I would write a summary of my opinion on this topic.   Predatory 'health care' providers including some OTs, PTs, chiropractors, and behavioral optometrists are creating a new 'market' for treating this alleged 'problem.'  Parents should be very wary of these practitioners and other professionals should challenge these practices whenever they are seen. Being in program development mode has given me both the time and headspace to think more deeply about some of the broader dynamics shaping our profession. The release of AOTA’s newly published Vision Statement and the proposed changes to the Code of Ethics have provided a catalyst for deeper reflection. Ethics in occupational therapy can feel distant or overly academic—something shaped by committees and frameworks rather than day-to-day practice.
